A musician since age 9, journalist/visual storyteller since age 20 and gourmet cook since age 26.
I grew up in Churubusco, Indiana – A small rural town with a population of around 2,000 people (1,796 according to 2010 Census) just north of Fort Wayne, Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University, with a double major in Journalism and History.
I spent the majority of my adult life working as a Graphics Editor and Designer in the business of Journalism. I Lived and worked in in New York City off and on for 17 years, with stints in Myrtle Beach, Austin and Chicago. I currently live in Churubusco, Indiana.
I play the drums and sing in semi-professional groups and recreation. I have a meticulously curated vintage Kenner Star Wars collection (1977-85) and I am particular enough to build my own furniture.
I take pride in being as authentically me as I can and try to live impervious to the judgement or labeling that often impedes the happiness of human beings.
